During the Launching of the DOST-TAPI Roadmap and Stakeholders’ Recognition on 13 May 2022 at the Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City, outstanding DOST-TAPI employees received due recognition for their hard work and exceptional performance in 2020 and 2021.
The Institute’s Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee as well as the Human Resource Section carefully selected the employees who received the Director’s Award for Excellence, Most Innovative Award, Achievers Award, Loyalty Award, and Service Award.

The PRAISE Committee establishes a system of incentives and awards to recognize and motivate employees for their performance and conduct.
Held annually, the said awards give commendation to the valuable contributions of the employees in the operations and overall targets set by the Institute.
“In this room filled with familiar faces, I am overwhelmed by inspiration and hope as we take the new step into endless possibilities and opportunities,” said DOST-TAPI Director, Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena.
She also mentioned earlier this year during the Unraveling the RISE: Road to Innovative Science and Technology Engagements of DOST-TAPI on 31 January 2022 that, “DOST-TAPI is our home.”
The Most Innovative Award is given to employees who have introduced innovations in the operations of the Institute, making it more efficient and effective.

Meanwhile, the Loyalty Award is given to employees who have shown commitment and dedication by staying in the Institute for years, even decades.
Finally, the Director’s Award for Excellence is given to employees who have displayed outstanding achievement, and exceptional performance, dedication and contributions in support of the Institute’s goal.
