The Department of Science and Technology-Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) is expected to participate in the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG), Switzerland on April 9-13, 2025.

The agency will be leading the Philippine delegation in the exposition of six unique technologies developed by Filipino startup companies and DOST institutes namely:

1. SeeYouDoc: A System and Method for Managing Healthcare Services and Networks
Inventor: Noel Gary E. Del Castillo of SeeYouDoc Corp.

SeeYouDoc is a comprehensive digital healthcare management system that connects patients, doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare provider networks (HCPNs).

2. Earth Board: Coir-Reinforced Bio-Based, High-Density Polyurethane Composite for Structural Panels
Inventors: Kenno Michael Uy and Amierson C. Tilendo of Lesstics, Inc.

Earth Board is an eco-friendly innovation designed to transform waste coconut husks into sustainable and durable coco coir boards which are suitable for furniture and construction applications.

3. Three-in-One Mobile Salt Crusher, Washer, and Harvester Equipment
Inventors: Annabelle V. Briones, Oliver C. Evangelista, Jayson B. Nuval, and Raeyjan V. Marfal from the DOST-Industrial Technology Development Institute

This machine is an efficient automated solution to the laborious methods of salt crushing, washing, and harvesting in a deep saltern crystallizer (DSC).

4. Continuous Screw Type Salt Washer

Inventors: Annabelle V. Briones, Carlos J. De Vera, Oliver C. Evangelista, Jayson B. Nuval, Melquiades B. Canceran, and Alexander G. Cruz from the DOST-Industrial Technology Development Institute

This machine is used to remove contaminants and increase the purity of salt to 97% (dry weight basis) in compliance with the country’s quality standards and requirements.

5. HazardHunterPH: Systems and Methods in Conducting Multi-Hazard Assessment
Inventors:  Renato U. Solidum, Jr., Mabelline T. Cahulogan, Eric P. Santos, Trixia Marie C. Albelda, Janice C. Carpo, John Harold B. Tabuzo, Richard G. Sulit, Andrew C. Ragadio, and Margarita Andrea P.  Manor from the DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology

Hazard Hunter PH provides data and reports on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and extreme weather from consolidated government databases.

6. GeoAnalyticsPH: Risk Analysis Made Easy
Inventors: Renato U. Solidum, Jr., Mabelline T. Cahulogan, Andrew C. Ragadio, Margarita Andrea P. Mahor, Eric P. Santos, John Harold B. Tabuzo, and Richard G. Sulit from the DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology

This geospatial online platform is designed to streamline hazard assessment and risk analysis for local government units and decision-makers.

These innovative technologies are beneficiaries of DOST-TAPI’s Expanded Venture Financing Program, and Science and Technology Promotion for International Contests and Exhibits (SPICE) Program.
