VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Assignment: Finance and Administrative Division under Management Information System (MIS) Unit – ISSP Project
Status of Appointment: Contract of Service
Monthly Salary: Php 44,429.00 / month
Duration: Six (6) months, subject to renewal
Minimum Requirements:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : None required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework (training/experience with small projects preferred).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts.
- Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
- Basic knowledge of Git version control.
- Basic knowledge in Linux (Ubuntu Server)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Collaborate with lead developers and team members on various projects.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Learn and implement best practices in web development and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve overall project quality.
- Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs and database design.
- Stay updated with new features and updates in Laravel and related technologies.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Maintain, and enhance existing PHP based web applications
- Bug fixes and support
- Provide assistance with other team members
- Transfers/shares gained knowledge to colleagues for synchronization purposes.
- Information System Strategic Plan (ISSP) project-related concerns
- Creation of backup server and cloud migration
- Other duties assigned
