Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional Second Level Eligibility
Preferred Qualification:
- Graduate of technical science related courses (Chemistry, Physics, Agri, etc.) or Engineering courses
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Functions:
- Assist the Senior SRS in the review and evaluation of technologies endorsed for promotional and marketing assistance. This will require an understanding of the core innovations of each technology, in view of the different maturity readiness level and the proposed promotional/marketing strategies for its targeted commercialization pathway. It may also involve conducting market research based on available sources and/or through client interviews.
- Propose, develop and implement assigned communication and marketing campaigns, particularly for programs and technologies. This will require core skills/experience in crafting promotional strategies and out-of-the-box solutions to achieve specific marketing goals.
- Act as resource speaker to represent the Unit and the Institute in different events, workshops, and dialogues which would require in-depth presentation of DOST-TAPI’s programs, services and impacts;
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, required by the management, including assistance in the crafting and implementation of in-house studies for possible publication; and
- Assist in the preliminary scanning of market of technologies for inclusion in campaign portfolio, including coordination with inventors, researchers and scientist.
Creative Functions:
- Assist in the preparation of the creative/marketing deck of various campaigns. This will require creative skills/experience in any of the following core areas: graphic design, videography, video editing, motion graphics, etc.; and
- Lead the implementation of social media strategies, particularly in terms of content creation to amplify campaign awareness and reach
Support Functions:
- Support the Technology Information and Promotion Institute (TIPD) in the conduct of local events by participating in adhoc committees; and
- Assist in projects such as but not limited to: finalization of business plans for PCAARRD’s Business Plan Development Project, liquidation and post-completion monitoring of 60-completed projects under the Technology Innovation for Commercialization (TECHNiCOM) Program, Expansion of Market for Eminent Entrepreneurial Transmition (E-MarkET)
