Minimum Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience

Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training

Eligibility: Career Service Professional Second Level Eligibility

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Multimedia Arts/Studies, Marketing, Graphics Design or other related degrees
  2. At least one (1) year of relevant experience in graphics designs
  3. At least four (4) hours of relevant training in graphic design or related fields
  4. Preferably with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) and other editing software. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.)

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Creative Functions:

  1. Propose, develop and implement assigned communication and marketing campaigns, particularly for programs and institutional and local events. This will require core skills/experience in crafting promotional strategies and out-of-the-box solutions to achieve specific marketing goals.
  2. Lead the preparation of the creative.marketing deck of various campaigns. This will require creative skills/experience in any of the following core areas: graphic design, videography, video editing, motion graphics, etc.
  3. Lead the implementation of social media strategies, particularly in terms of content creation, to amplify campaign awareness and reach
  4. Develop compelling written content for campaigns and institutional communication materials, including but not limited to social media captions, press releases, scripts, campaign copy, and promotional materials. Ensure that messaging is clear, aligned with organizational branding, and tailored to target audiences.

 

Technical Functions:

  1. Assist the Senior SRS in implementing promotional activities for institutional and local events, including manning exhibits and providing on-site communication support.
  2. Act as a resource speaker to represent the Unit and the Institute at various events, workshops, and dialogues that require an in-depth presentation of DOST-TAPI’s programs, services, and impacts.
  3. Facilitate close coordination with contracted artists and service providers to deliver high quality creative outputs.

 

Support Functions:

  1. Support the Technology Information and Promotion Division (TIPD) activities by participating in ad hoc committees.
